My Little Birdie

It's not professional - it's not even pretty. But this is the best I can do. This is the noise Makeda has been making since the day I first met her. She used to be able to go on for hours, but it's been fading fast and now I think it's gone forever. I wanted to record it for her and it's a good thing I did since I've not heard it since I captured it last week. As you can see, it's a noise that seems to take a lot of effort...

You are having way too much fun with that kid. I'm sure she will quickly replace that sound with some other fancy trick.

Yay! You got it loaded! Woman, I've been waiting for this FOR AGES. I'm still experiencing Makeda withdrawal, ya know. Thank God I got a sugah fix from Samara this weekend.

Makeda makes it sound so easy to make that noise. I was only able to do it with great difficulty & concentration. The kid has talent.

Cute noise! I'm sure that it will be replaced with something even cuter.

Bravo Michealla! Anonymous, and yet not...

And Haze, actually, I did lame out and try and email you the video so you could do it for me, but I couldn't zip it, and then it jammed my email up. So I actually had to (unwillingly) do it myself.

Clearly the girl found Canada to be chilly! She's probably stopped saying brrrrrr because she is now totally acclimated. And so incredibly cute.

Oy! Meklit used to make that sound too (although not as fetchingly as your dear one does). It's been ages since I heard it too, probably a year or more. My dad used to call her Motorboat because of it. Now we should call her Miss Manners, because her favorite mouth noise is thank you, ma'am" said more as a mantra, less as a reply.
