Lessons in Motherhood

To all you new moms and moms-to-be out there following my blog - a hot tip. When you look at your new baby and notice what appears to be crusted blood on the insides of both nostrils - DO NOT PANIC! You have not caused her first nosebleed. You have merely omitted to properly clean out the remnants of this evening's spring vegetable medley from her nose.

No need for thanks. Just doing my job.

Barb,

My apologies for not adding my comment sooner. Congrabtulations! I am very pleased that Makeda, who by the way is adorable, is finally home with you.

If you need anything, don't hesitate to give me a call.

What a valuable service you are providing the mommy community.

And how fab for Makeda that her dinner includes a Medley!

Going back to your homemade meals post - Sonya and I will be happy to take a little credit for introducing you to the joys of making homemade mush! Good for you. And all these years I thought tuna casserole was the only dish in your repetoire.

but of course, if left in the nasal cavity for longer than 72 hours, the spring medley may rot and cause nosebleed.

just a friendly fyi.
